Our Swisher Plant has a history of service to Prophetstown State Park, as well as the historic Farm at Prophetstown, which operates on 125 acres of the park’s land. Since the parks creation in 2004, Swisher has provided aggregates for the entrances, parking facilities, walkways and the aquatics center. In addition, we have been a title sponsor for the annual Planting Days at the historic farm. US Aggregates Swisher staff are currently designing, building and donating a new chicken coop for the farm, complete with chicken swings to replace one that was destroyed by fire. Recently, as a gesture
of gratitude, the farm invited US Aggregates representatives to visit and enjoy a full country breakfast featuring the farm’s fresh eggs, sausage and bacon.
