About This Location

The Lowell Quarry, located in Lake County, Indiana, was acquired by US Aggregates in 2011 and has been a large part of local construction aggregates for more than 20 years. In 2020, the plant completed an expansion project, improving the quality of its products. A four-deck wash screen and tower, a high-frequency screen and tower, a twin sand screw, five radial stackers, and over a mile of conveyors were added as part of this project, expanding the capabilities and products produced at this plant. Lowell Quarry partners with Lowell East Quarry to sponsor the Lowell Labor Day Festival as well as to support local establishments like St. Edward’s Food Pantry, Lowell Fire Department, TriCreek EMS, and the Lake County Sheriff’s Department. Both operations participate in local career fairs, provide sponsorships for various youth organizations, and are members of the Lowell Chamber.
