Dana Boyd has 30+ years of experience in the aggregates Industry and has managed both operations and sales for surface and underground crushed stone operations, sand & gravel operations as well as fine grind and industrial mineral operations. Prior to joining the US Aggregates team, He was part owner, Director and served in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer for NALC, LLC. a startup aggregates company based out of Cloverdale, IN. Prior to this endeavor, he worked 20 plus years for a large integrated aggregates producer where immediately out of college he worked in the maintenance departments specializing in rolling stock and production plant maintenance. He also served as a safety and environmental manager for the company as well as managing sales and operations for multiple years.
Dana is active in the Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association as a board member of the Environmental Stewardship Council and has chaired the Safety and the Public Information and Education committees. Outside of the aggregates industry, he served multiple years as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff, State Certified EMT, and a certified Master Firefighter. He has also served in several volunteer positions such as the Owen Co. Fair Association, Owen County 4-H council, Owen Valley youth sports complex as a baseball and basketball coach. His hobbies include restoring antique farm equipment, metal fabrication, and woodworking.
