About This Location

Utilimin (formerly Midwest Calcium Carbonates, LLC) is a fine grind operation that shares its general location with both 243 and Deer Creek plants. US Aggregates became its majority shareholder in 2019. Since then, Utilimin has developed partnerships with the IDNR and local Area 30 Career Center. The location has also stepped in to help the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry and the Pantry Coalition at the height of the global pandemic.
