US Aggregates will supply stone out of the Portland and Ridgeville Plants to Blattner Energy for a 57-windmill project known as Bluff Point in Jay and Randolph counties.
Blattner recently came to Portland and provided safety training to US Agg employees and all truck drivers participating in the project. The company has a strong safety culture like US Aggregates.
We will be hauling 3,000 tons a day to the project, once it is in full swing. Last week, we covered a five-acre field Blattner will use to store equipment and an office trailer.
