US Aggregates was happy to be a small part of this year’s IMAA Teachers’ Workshop & Blast Institute at Indiana University. The PIE Committee and Indiana Geological and Water Survey did a terrific job with the curriculum and schedule. We sponsored two incredible educators, John Carlson, a 7th grade General Science Teacher from Indian Creek Middle School and Yvonne Whelan, a 3rd-grade teacher from our beloved Klondike Elementary in West Lafayette. Everyone who participated expressed what a terrific experience it was. Congratulations to the entire group and thanks to all who gave up their week to learn more about rocks, minerals, and the mining industry. #rocknteachers
