The Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association (IMAA) recently hosted their Winter Workshop in early February. This workshop brought together industry leaders and professionals from across the state to discuss new technologies, share best practices, and recognize achievements in the field of aggregates. US Aggregates was honored to be a part of this event and was recognized in several categories for their contributions to the industry.
US Aggregates proudly received the Excellence in Mining award for their commitment to safety, sustainability and to their contributions in their community. This award is granted to companies that have consistently excelled in safety programs, environmental programs, and demonstrated strong community and employee relations. US Aggregates received 15 gold awards and 1 silver award across all plants.
US Aggregates also received 8 IMAA Safety Awards, which are awarded to plants that have no reportable injuries for at least one year— something that US Aggregates has achieved by prioritizing safety protocols and procedures across all operations. This recognition is a testament to the importance US Aggregates places on worker safety, as well as commitment to setting high standards for employee health and well-being.
The IMAA Winter Workshop was, once again, a great success with many industry leaders in attendance.
