Awards

Last week, the Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association (IMAA) hosted its annual 2026 Winter Workshops. Leaders from the aggregates industry gathered for three days to network, learn and celebrate. US Aggregates® was highlighted by the IMAA across several categories for its impact on the industry.

US Aggregates received 16 Gold Excellence in Mining Awards across its plants. The award is given based on a plant’s level of consistency across safety and environmental programs and community and employee relationships.

US Aggregates also had 13 sites receive a Safety Achievement Award. The award is provided to sites with no reportable injuries for at least one-year. We believe safety is a culture, and it is embedded in the way we operate daily.

Cloverdale Sites Receive IMAA Community Connection Award

We are proud to share that the IMAA presented its 2026 Community Connection Award to our Cloverdale sites (243, Deer Creek and Utilimin). Our sites had the honor of receiving this for the second year in a row for their outstanding service and partnership in their local communities. In 2025, they donated over 300 pounds of vegetables from their community garden, hosted a back-to-school drive, volunteered for a community clean-up project with local high school, participated in a trunk or treat for Halloween and sponsored a foster home Christmas party.

Columbus Site Receives Large Producer CAPP Award

Our Columbus site was selected by a district geologist for the CAPP Award. The Certified Aggregate Product Program (CAPP) was established by INDOT to ensure quality assurance and consistency across aggregate suppliers. Companies and sites who go above and beyond these requirements and are nominated by a district official based on audits and documentation are eligible for the CAPP Award.

Last year our Columbus site received a full wash plant transformation. This project was a huge undertaking, which was a major accomplishment for our team and company. Throughout the journey, our team communicated closely with INDOT on our plan and processes.

As we close out this year’s Winter Workshops and Awards Ceremony, we’re reminded of how important it is to amplify the impactful work happening across the mineral and aggregates industry. The dedication, innovation and stewardship demonstrated by our peers move the entire sector forward, and we are truly honored to stand alongside such committed industry leaders as part of the IMAA. We’re equally proud to share that our company president Caleb Brown has been named the 2026 IMAA Officers President‑Elect, an honor that reflects both his leadership and our team’s continued commitment to advancing the industry. We look forward to supporting the work ahead and celebrating even more progress together in the coming year.
