Francesville Fire Department announced that their front line fire truck was in need of a complete motor replacement after problems with oil pressure. When US Aggregates Francesville quarry heard about this, they proudly donated $2,000.00 towards the Fire Truck Engine Repair needed to help with the cost of the repair.
Business Development Manager John Masterson commented “When we heard about the engine failure, we absolutely wanted to do our part to assist with the repair cost. The Francesville Volunteer Fire Department is a vital resource for our community. We’ve had the opportunity to partner with them over the years to provide real world training for their team and ours through emergency action drills.”
Last September, US Aggregates held an emergency action drill (EAD) that simulated a worker finding an unconscious employee on site. Local emergency services were involved to go over what went well and what could be improved. Read more about it here.
